A Great Fun Movie

Ride the Wild Surf is a great, fun picture. Along with Gidget and Where the Boys Are, it is one of the best of the beach films in my opinion. Its an enjoyable film that can be watched over and over. I never miss this movie when it is shown on television. Good acting, good story and a fun film to watch and a nice song by Jan and Dean.

Those three were definitely a cut above the Beach Blanket Bingo type. For one thing, they had some genuine actors scattered throughout rather than just pinups.
