The Theme Song is a re-write ?

The theme song for "RAIDERS FROM BENEATH THE SEA" sounds like a rip-off of "MORE", the theme from Mondo Cane. Was this the same Hank Levine that wrote
some hit songs in the 1970's.

Sounded to me a lot like "Telstar", a 1962 hit which I thought was by The Ventures, but which Wikipedea claims to have been done by The Tornadoes. Guess the memory gets a bit clouded after all these years.

"Telstar" is what came to mind first, but I'd have to say there's a bit of "More" in there too-- a sort of generic sixties instrumental mashup, isn't it?

Most definitely Telstar by The Tornadoes for me. It was released by them about two years before this movie was released, so it was certainly a rip.

(and, yes, the wonderful group, The Ventures, did release their version about a year after The Tornadoes)

Here's another tune by the composer for Raiders from Beneath the Sea, Hank Levine. See how many rips he has in this one.

You'd think he took some John Barry and Henry Mancini sheet music and tossed them into the air, collected them how they fell and was off to the races.
