Everyone talks in the same annoying over-egged manner. Like instead of just saying, 'Get up detective. You look awful' people say stuff like "Hello my good sir. You are most certainly looking worse for wear I would say. I do hope you not consider this disarming of me detective, but do you think it might be an imposition for me to ask what you are doing down there?"

That's pretty funny, although most films of the 1960s waste a lot of words to say things the average person could say much quicker. I'm still looking for a complete copy to watch. I first read about it as a kid and wanna see it, knowing it probably won't live up to any sort of expectations.
