Paris when it sizzles and North by Northwest?

Is it just me or does this movie show some semblance in the script that Rick writes to North by Northwest? Audrey Hepburn turns out to be a spy for the "bad guy", but is also secretly rooting for Rick, and in the end she leaves Gilet for Rick?

This might seem like a bit of a stretch, but it just kept reminding me of N by NW.
