Reference to 'Charade'?

During one scene, after William Holden teaches Audrey Hepburn about plot twists, she mentions that their new script should contain a "twist on a twist, on a twist..." This is possibly a reference to the plot of her previous movie, "Charade"

The movie was made before Charade, even though Charade was released first. I guess it does make a reference, albeit a very subtle one. However, I doubt it was deliberate.

It could possibly have been because the two films were shot back-to-back in Paris. Possibly an idea that was added.

And using the same "Punch and Judy" set and the same elevator?
Charade's the best!

CHARADE IS the best!!!

I haven't seen Charade yet. But there were several refernces to her other movies in this one. Did anyone else pick up on these? The most obvious was My Fair Lady. But also Breakfast at Tiffany's-- when he is describing the way his movie ends in the very beginning, with the shot of the cat, the rain, and the kiss. I know I picked up another one but I can't seem to think of it just right now...

Sabrina - the character of the chauffeur and the scene in a limo
Funny Face - the song and Holden mentions about dancing like Fred Astaire

So many wonderful allusions....I can't understand how this film is only at a 5.9.

He said it's all in your head, and I said, so's everything--
