Why such a low rating?
The movie was fun , satirical and breezy with Audrey irresistible as ever.
Whats wrong with some people?

I honestly have no clue. A truly amazing movie - and so ahead of it's time!
shareYeah it had a great premise but I think the reason this movie failed was that their was no passion present. U could tell that both Rick and Gaby were in love with each other, but somehow it was still messy and in a haze. I think that's where the movie went wrong. other than that, it would still be great to see it in a remake.

No, I'm kidding, THAT was a joke... so laugh.
I can see how people might not care for it. For me, you could stick Audrey Hepburn in Twilight, and make me want to watch it.
But this movie is really below average, and cheap in some places. I kinda like a cheap movie that doesn't try to be more than it is, but some people just can't warm up to it.

While fun, I do think the movie is a bit messy in execution. The satire seems to go all over the place and the humor might have been a little too goofy for some. However, the movie is far from bad in my opinon and I enjoy watching it from time to time-- the script just needed another rewrite to get the pacing down better IMO.
