Nothing But The Best...any copies for sale?

I've been talking about this film with a pal for some time and wonder
if anyone out there knows of a source for a tape of it?
If so, would like to purchase it.

Thanks for any feedback.

Found a copy of it in the meantime?

There are tapes available on Amazon (for forty bucks) and British Amazon (for nearly seventy quid - which is steep) right now, and it turns up on ebay pretty frequently.

The real question is why no-one else wants to talk about this film: it's a classic, cracking black comedy, with Alan Bates' career-best performance.

We should all be raising a glass to this marvellous movie.

As I raise my glass . . . I love this film as well . . . I've got one question with respect to these VHS editions:

Are any of them, by chance, letter-boxed? I've only managed to see this film in Pan'n'Scan television prints.

I have a pretty good dvd-r of it taped off Bravo years ago. It's on a double with The Birthday Party if anyone is interested

Just in case anyone is still looking to acquire this film, it is scheduled for release by Network on Region 2 DVD for 30th June 2014.

The product description is listed as:

--------------------------------------------
Black humour and biting social satire combine in this acclaimed feature of 1963, starring Alan Bates as an ambitious young real-estate clerk who s determined to crawl his way to the top of the social pile; Denholm Elliott is the disreputable aristocrat who teaches him all he needs to know, Millicent Martin the girl he sets out to woo and win. Nothing but the Best is scripted by Oscar winner Frederic Raphael, who received a Writers Guild of Great Britain Award for his screenplay, with Nic Roeg earning a BAFTA-Award nomination for cinematography. The film is presented here in a brand-new digital transfer, in its as-exhibited theatrical aspect ratio.

Jimmy Brewster is a working-class lad using his dynamism, natural cockiness and abundant charm to overcome any obstacles to the champagne lifestyle he craves. He has his sights firmly set on his boss s attractive daughter, Ann, and finds a perfect mentor in the form of the caddish, crooked Charlie. But just how far is Brewster prepared to go in order to get what he wants?
