When is the DVD release?

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. The casting is perfect,
the acting is perfect, the story is human, and the plot very real.
When is this movie going to be released on DVD? Anyone?

I SECOND THE MOTION!!! This film is one of the best I have ever seen...looks like there will be a re-make in 2005 but those never seem to live up to the orignial production. I would very much like this 1964 version with Richard Burton, Ava Gardner, and Deborah Kerr released on DVD? Does anyone have any info about this?

It's one of my favorites, too! What is holding up the DVD release of this classic? We can buy Bobby Breen movies, for Gawd's sake, why not "Night of the Iguana"? Does anyone know who we can petition about this?

The bad guy here is Warner Brothers as they own this property curently and are slow as pine tar in releasing older films. Try writing Warner Home Video and ask them nicely.
