What was the reason for the laboratory in the house? They never explained why he had a lab, what was he working on and did it have anything to do with the plot?
shareThank you. I came here to ask why this blind man had a laboratory. What sort of research was he doing? I am assuming that the lawyer was responsible for the explosion. He was out for the guy's fortune.....
It definitely had something to do with the plot.
I also question where the hole in the floor of a 3rd floor laboratory led to. Surely it went down to the second or first floor of the house. Was it safe to go there in the house? I'm sure that now days the fire dept. and arsen squad would have been all over it and the wife probably would have been the top suspect in the murder of her husband.......
But that wouldn't have fit into this movie's plot.
I do try not to look at these things too closely. It's a fun movie.
