Scratch under that veneer...

...of small town respectability and what do you find?
A cesspool!
I love how the Towers character, tries to go straight, but the town itself is "dirty" and what goes on there in unforgivable.
You can't help but feel for her when she has her heart broken.
But what is the message of the film? That if you have secret past and you try to reform, it will end in tears? That men are good for women and they need to stand on their own?

Where did you access this, Riding?

Sounds interesting.

Putlockers have this and his other films.
Try Shock Corridor first and then this one. Both have strong cult followings.
Hope I haven't spoilt if by giving away too much of the plot.
Both are 'B' movies though with terrible dialogue!

Thank you.

I don't mind knowing at all.

Shock Corridor is...ummm...bizarre too. Don't think its a proto One flew over the cuckoo's nest. This one is just weird!

I'd heard of "Shock Corridor," but never saw it. I've seen that listing on my cable. I'll keep an eye peeled for it now.

It's pretty sleazy but I love it. Let this site know what you think of it, there is debate as to which of the two is a better film but they, it and The Naked Kiss, would make a great double bill to watch in a flea-pit cinema. If they even exist anymore.

Seems like the producers lost whatever message may have been there just so that they could intensify the drama.
