Actually, I agree with you, and I'm an American. However, don't judge all of us by a provincial few. Ignorant people make the most noise here in the U.S. I suspect that might be true anywhere, except in undeveloped nations, where the ignorant are too busy trying to survive to kick up much of a fuss.

The way things are going, that could be true of the US within the next few years. I shudder to think what kind of strongman Americans will support if we undergo a total collapse. We learned nothing from Hitler. We made fun of him, called Germans stupid and assured ourselves it "could never happen here."

We're ripe for it, although we're more likely to burn Muslims rather than Jews.

Anyway, Morozko is a cute film, and I liked it. MST3K gave it an unusually cute treatment, too. Their humor was uncharacteristically gentle. I liked it as well.
