This movie and the Follow up and the TV series
Ok I am starting up a call to to TPTB please bring out McHale's Navy, McHale's Navy join the Air Force, and McHale's Navy the TV Series out On DVD.

There is a wonderful reunion group discussion of the show featuring the great Ernest Borgnine, the uproariously funny Tim Conway, Edson "Virgil" Stroll, Carl "Gruber" Ballantine and Bob "Carpie" Hastings on the first season dvds. Great fun to hear the wonderful cast of this equally wonderful show reminisce about the halcyon days on P.T. 73.
Australia has always had the biggest fanbase for "McHale's Navy" (Ernest Borgnine is still revered down here, like a hero) and glad to see both original movies are being released in their original aspect ratio (although the PG rating is far too severe--this movie plays on tv and theatres with it's original G rating)
Most likely it will roll out across the rest of the world soon--if you have a multi region dvd player, why wait? Follow this link:
