Dick Van Dyke sings Step In Time to my daughter

I had the pleasure of meeting Dick Van Dyke recently. He couldn't have been more pleasant and energetic, especially since he is now 89 years old. I had a nice picture taken with he and my daughter, but the highlight for her was undoubtedly when he broke into a verse of STEP IN TIME, just for her. She went in to pre-kindergarten the next day and couldn't stop talking about meeting "Bert."

She and I dance to this song often, jumping and running around every room of the house, so it meant a lot to her. Here's the moment when he sang to her:

What a great guy! It's nice to see that DVD does not just play a nice guy in the movies.

That was an awesome video! I have a four-year-old daughter who loves Mary Poppins, and it would be all I could do to keep myself from pushing my kid out of the way so DVD was singing to me!!! :D
