Those poor horses!

I was watching this the other night and I noticed what terrible riders those actors were! Especially Jercules. They were all jerking on the reins, holding them too tight, obviously using them for balance. You can tell by the way many of the horses were tossing their heads, opening their mouths, etc that they were in serious discomfort. Talk about DEEP HURTING!

It would have taken less then 15 minutes to instruct the actors how to properly control their horses, but seeing as how completely inept every part of this movie is I guess I shouldn't be surprised. They apparently spent most of their budget on Samarra's beautiful gowns.

Long live MST3K... the only way to watch this horrid thing.

or there's the part where hercules is riding and *GASP* a rock slide!! and his horse completely just flips over...poor thing

movie horses are trained to do flips like that and fall over and many other things like that and about the weight thing an average horse can carry about 250 pounds extra weight(person) and can go one for a got 4 or 5 miles before the rider needs to get off and walk for a couple miles to rest the horse.
