Google it. I was going to respond to someones post on why DeHavilland did this film. This type of film was a common theme in the early sixties along with What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

I am pretty sure, Sunset Blvd. was the unintentional catalyst of the genre, most of the "older wealthy women in peril" films were Bettie Davis, Oliva Dehavilland and Joan Crawford.

"Older?" "Biddy?" De Havilland was 47 at the time. Today, Jodie Foster is 53, Julia Roberts is 48, Marisa Tomei is 51, Nicole Kidman is 48, Sandra Bullock is 51, and Julianne Moore is 55. Would you call any of them "a biddy"?
