This is one of those movies that belongs in the Golden Turkey Hall of Fame. It is so intriguing that you cannot pull yourself away. After it is over you ask yourself why did I waste 94 minutes of life on that. The studio hair stylist decided to straighten Caan's hair, which is naturally very tight and curly, almost like Negro's wool. It looks strange. They probably used a product like Curl Free which was popular in the 60's. When I was a teen I used that one time on my medium curly hair and got the same limp results. My mom had a fit. Caan had a good body frame but should have hit the weights for several months before filming to slap on some muscle. His chest and abs are covered with lots of tight curly hair.

I just watched this for the first time in many years. Dollars to doughnuts that was a rug, rather than all his hair. Next time you watch, look at the back of his head particularly. Hirsute men like James, with all that hair on his chest and flat belly (and even on his broad shoulders and back), quite often have receding and thinning hair, even at the age of 23 or 24, Caan''s age at the time. Something that struck me this time is the blatant sexual innuendo in the dialogue and the more overt leering and other action.
