Greatest Anthology Film Ever Made?

I think it is. Other candidates might be Dead of Night (1945) and Spirits of the Dead (1968) ... all horror anthologies, incidentally. Something about horror lends it self to the short story format. Akira Kurosawa's Dreams comes close to being a success, but falters a bit in the tedious and preachy second half. The first half of Dreams is rather ghostly as well, and Kurosawa borrowed heavily from the "Woman of the Snow" section of Kaidan in "The Blizzard".
