Available on US DVD-R in January of 2010

Universal and Amazon have announced the release of this entertaining thriller on DVD-R. This is probably similar to the Warner Archives series of burned (rather than pressed) DVD-Rs of films that aren't considered commercial enough for a regular disc release. Amazon.com is currently accepting orders for this title. I've received my copy, and the quality is quite good overall. The film is in anamorphic widescreen (1:85-1), and the visual image is much sharper than the old VHS release of this title.
