Rather .... creepy

and insulting to women everywhere. I never saw this movie and am taking a look right now as it is being shown on TCM. I found poor old Fred McMurray rather embarrassing, with nothing much to do as The First Man . He has several scenes where he tries to nail his very important wife as that seems to be the only thing he feels he is good at. And of course in every 'romantic' scene, the phone rings and interrupts, dragging her away from underneath poor old Fred and having to leave him frustrated as she needs to, you know, get to work as President. Very dumb movie. If I were Mrs. President, I would find some manly man job for poor old Fred and get him out of the White House so he would stop hounding her for attention.
