Seems Bill has joked that if the missus gets elected President, he wants to be called "First Laddie." I seem to remember Fred MacMurray's character is called this at least once in this film and have even made that same joke to some of my friends. Can anybody confirm this?
shareI've got to wonder how this movie would play-out 50 years later. I doubt we'd have the 60s requirements for mom-at-home and dad-as-master that get turned upside down. (And no spanking for the son turned Secret Service supported bully).
Finally, I'm sure the ending "30 million women beaten by one man" would need serious revision.
