I liked this movie!

Unlike the devotee of President Dumbass, who posted above. Just in case IMDB fails to accept my review (Gee! Do you think they censor stuff here?), I will post it in this forum:

I've seen this movie, and I would just like to advise you to ignore everything in the preceding review.

The reviewer is an obvious idiot -- just like his hero, the late President Vegetable.

Except for this one fact: Lee Marvin is great.

The fore-mentioned idiot reviewer also seemed unable to produce the name of Marvin's sidekick in "The Killers".

He is the extremely skilled Clu Gulager. Check him out in "Return of the Living Dead."

Did I cover 10 lines of text, IMDb? Good! Post my review.

hey, i'm with you, i thought this movie was fantastic. I thought Clu Gulager's character was way ahead of it's time, a likable and silly hitman.

Thanx for mentioning he was in Return of the Living Dead, i had seen that before knowing Clu and only now am i enlightened.

Referring to Question 99's comment above --

In your list of idiots, you might include those who don't identify which post they refer to ....

Typical mindless sniping by someone who gets their political philosophy from bumper stickers -- probably with someone helping them sound out the big words.

Of course, that's a lot easier than actually reading Reagan's perceptive political columns of the 50s, which would probably be over the heads of most of his younger critics, for whom actually reading books is far too much trouble.

Reagan actually started out as a classic liberal Democrat, like Gregory Peck and CHarlton Heston, and a Democratic union activist -- but then, as he describes it, he didn't leave the Democratic Party, it left him ... when it swerved far out in Left Field. But of course your mama, whose brain cells were too zonked out from LSD and crack, probably forgot to tell you that.

Good thing it didn't take eleven or more lines for IMDB -- you'd have run out of fingers. But I do have a finger for you, come to think of it ....

Wow. You are just bitter, smokehill. What the hell happened to you?

Any student of basic American history knows the Democrats were much more conservative than they are now.

Young people not only read books but the also write them. If you can swallow and then *beep* out that bitter pill you have in your gullet, perhaps you will then be able to see past your own mean spirited *beep* long enough to join us out here in the world without generalities and generation bashing.

I doubt it though. You claim others are regurgitating the same thing over and over again. Well, this is the second time I have come across a post of yours in which you spew the same obnoxious rant about how young people suck.

I bet if I were to check your post history, I would find this rant over and over and over again.

You should be more worried about the state of your own mental health and less worried about whether or not someone younger than you agrees with your bitter world views.

Peace... and please, try not to choke on it.

Berlitz and proud of it.

[but then, as he describes it, he didn't leave the Democratic Party, it left him]

Right, it left him -- by supporting the Civil Rights movement. That was enough to send smiling racists like Reagan fleeing to the party of Falwell.

[Of course, that's a lot easier than actually reading Reagan's perceptive political columns of the 50s]

Wow, I bet those political columns were brilliant. Unfortunately, my Klan membership lapsed, and I didn't get the newsletter.

Tough times are ahead for punks like you, Smokey. Shall I give your best to President Clinton when I see her?

You mean President Obama, don't you dipstick?
