The Killers DVD - Interview with Clu Gulager

Just picked up the DVD of The Killers (1964) - the 1946 original is part of the same package. The most interesting part of the features to the 1964 version is the interview with Clu Gulager. He talks for about 20 minutes about his memories of making the film, the cast, and NBC refusing to broadcast what was the first ever made-for-TV movie. A must for fans.

His kids photographed the interview. And while they have an odd predilection for shooting through lamps and vases, the interview is quite touching.

That Gulager was a very nice extra. Love his story about Lee Marvin being drunk as a skunk during the shooting of the last scene in the movie.
