The Closed Captioning On THIS TV Movie Channel Is Funny

The Closed Captioning On THIS TV Movie Channel Is Funny.

One of the funniest misheard and captioned bits is after Matt flees through the basement window.

Jules tells Crane that "...I came to her rescue without Mike Dunn."

What he really said was "... I came to her rescue without my gun."

The whole movie is captioned slightly off kilt. It makes for a weird watch and read.

I wonder if the person doing the closed captioning is related to Gilda Radner's character Emily Litella from SNL.

QUOTE:

... and Emily Litella, an elderly hearing-impaired woman who gave angry and misinformed editorial replies on "Weekend Update" on topics such as "violins on television," the "Eagle Rights Amendment," "presidential erections," "making Puerto Rico a 'steak'", "busting school children", and "protecting endangered feces." Once corrected on her misunderstanding, Litella would end her segment with a polite "Never mind." ...
