Ending

Why couldn't Limpet arrange it with Bessy and George to visit sometimes? I mean, he's a fish. I hate it when they say they won't see each other again and all that. Those endings of films upset me. I mean, they deserve to have a visitation sometimes and be friends for life.

So what? He could've at least visited George and Bessy again from the water. Like maybe invite them to the water sometime for a swim together.

I didn't mind Henry's departure from Bessy, but what I didn't like was that we didn't see him at the very end, when George and the Admiral go out to find him again. All we hear is the thrum in the background.

I would have preferred to see either Henry's tail in the background, or, maybe even some little Limpet's swimming around, all making the sound. It would have been a bit more fitting.

I agree with hightp about the ending. It would have been a
better and perhaps happier ending if we could have seen
Mr. and Mrs. Limpet and their little Limpets swimming and
learning to make the sound like their dad.

I agree too, I think the film maker's should have spent just a little more money and let us see him again. I really love your idea of a school of little Limpets swimming about the boat. I would have been a more touching ending.

It's entirely possible that I am missing the point of your message.
