Mrs. Limpet

I was surprised to see that Carole Cook was cast as Mrs. Limpet. The only other appearance of hers I ever saw was in Emergency! John Gage had been seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver. He was, of course, taken to the fracture ward at Rampart Hospital; but Carole Cook was there as the most battle-ax, harridan nurse one could think of. It reminded me of the way Captain Lloyd Bucher was treated by the Navy after he had spent a year tortured by the North Koreans. I guess the Navy brass decided he hadn't suffered enough, and the nurse decided John Gage had not suffered enough. To me Carole Cook is an object of hate. 😠
