Does anyone know when (or if) Universal has plans to release this movie on DVD? It's been years since I've seen it -- the last time I can remember was, I think, on TBS back in the early 80s when it was one of the few cable networks around -- and I keep checking periodically to see if there's news, but so far nothing. :(

shareHi Kay, I live in England U.K. and have trouble finding golden oldies like this as my country sucks in trying to buy MOVIES. However, I log on to websites such as AMAZON and EBAY and hey they are the tops. I know these sites are selling probable copies from off of the tv or from peoples own collection but they are worth a go. Alas the big film studios do not seem interested in releasing older stuff just newer dirge with non actors and loads of FX in them. Lord knows I have written to many of the big companies but to no avail.
On ebay or amazon YUO CAN get copies of these great movies and on dvd. I have just bought a couple of sanra dee`s i.e A SUMMER PLACE and I`d Rather Be Rich plus IF A MAN ANSWERS .....from a seller called CAIMAN_USA on both EBAY and AMAZON....give them a try, they are not expensive.... If you check www.dvdbluedot.com, that person either has it or can refer you to a collector/dealer who would have it for sale.

Sorry I haven't answered sooner but yes I did receive the DVD and it is wonderful, clear and perfect.
