Zapp Brannigan

To the Wikipedia entry on that "Futurama" character I've added a reference to this movie. Meanwhile I see there's a video game out now called "Bash Brannigan" which invites the player to bash Zapp Brannigan on the head.

I also see that there was a 1949 TV play, "The Comic Book Murder", episode of the TV version of "Suspense", with a similar premise to "How To Murder Your Wife".

I suggested "How To Murder Your Wife" be shown at a gathering of the Fully Informed Jury Association, but the suggestion was a bit impish. FIJA promotes the acquittal of defendants according to the jury's opinion of the law and the circumstances.

i thought the same thing! just goes to show you how writers borrow from each other... other observations: the background theme keeps almost being the theme from the "Odd Couple", for which Neal Hefti ALSO did the music three years later. Jack Lemmon also starred in both... I was surprised that Murder Your Wife wasn't written by Neil Simon. Check out out the list of material written by Axelrod ...great list of stuff. Also too bad they didn't do more with Mary Wickes - she was a RIOT in everything she did.
