What a great personality Jack Lemmon was

Although Lemmon has played serious roles, such as in Missing, Lemmon perfected the average, neurotic, middle class suburban man. No one was quite like him.

I totally agree. And I love the everyman roles he played in the more underrated films he starred in, such as Good Neighbour Sam. I'm sure lots of people can relate to Jack in this film.

Oh, I know! Terrific actor.

One movie which he should have done with Matthau is A Guide For the Married Man. The actor who played Matthau's friend in that film wasn't well suited for the part, IMHO. Lemmon and Matthau would have made such a perfect team in that movie!
