Bob hypnotized during filming?

Hello all!

Thanks for the replies to my floating baby post. I'm not actually sure that the baby floated, but that Bob made it levitate from some inner power, but whatever...it was good to get some feedback.

Another thing that I remember reading about the film is that actor Jacques Bergerac, who played Louis in the film, tried out his hypnotism skills -- picked up during the filming of the horror classic The Hypnotic Eye -- on Bob. Evidently Jacques made Bob imitate Bing Crosby and then pretend he was Yvonne De Carlo, and of course she was watching all this take place. I'll bet footage of this exists someplace, or at least a still photo. I'd love to see it. Anybody know anything more about this?

It's my understanding that Bergerac did indeed become a hypnotic master of sorts, and was in great demand at Hollywood parties and at the Cannes film festival when he would attend. Yes, he could have put Bob under, but Jacques was particularly known for his naughty post-hypnotic suggestions, and therefore I wonder what he might have told Bob? We'll probably never know.

I doubt this was filmed, for the reason above.

Did Jacques ever hypnotize Dagmar? That might explain a thing or two.

Who is Dagmar? Is he that guy in the comic strip Blondie? He is hypnotized by sandwiches. Big ones (or I should say tall ones). Doesn't his wife look German? What is her name? I think I'm on to something and I'm serious when I say she could be the Herzog relative who informs on Bob at the United Nations. I don't think I've ever seen Bob hyptonized by sandwiches in a movie, though. Was that the question?
