Every Shakespeare buff has heard wonderful things about this version; some even claim that it's better than any version done in English, but few of us have ever seen it.You would think that by now one of the cable stations would have picked it up. It's not even on video.
"Gamlet" is available on DVD now from Facets Films. I don't know why it's never been shown on TV. You think by now TCM would have shown it, but they never air Pasolini's films either.
