Radio power question?

Would the generator powering the radio be running when the radio was on? From one scene it is right under the table where the radio is located.

If it was running you certainly would hear it. Or would it charge some type of batteries and only need be run occasionally?

I've wondered that myself, seeing that there was a generator there in the hut. Probably left the sound out of it out so you could hear the dialog and not the constant droning of a small gasoline motor.

If you can't fix it, fix it so nobody else can either!

The radio would of had a battery that would be recharged occasionally to save fuel for the generator
