DVD now OUT OF PRINT (1/28/13)

Twilight Time's DVD of Fate is the Hunter has just sold out its 3000 limited edition copies. If they're true to their word, no further discs will be made, though the film may show up directly from Fox some day.

This is the first standard DVD (as opposed to Blu-ray) from TT to sell out (and only three of their Blus have), which is mainly due to the fact that their choices of titles are generally not all that great. FITH is an exception -- no surprise as it finally sold out after two years.

I wonder what it'll be selling for on Amazon or ebay after this.

Hope your recording is widescreen and not pan and scan. Sorry you missed the DVD -- it was around for almost two years. I had added a post to a thread about its release back then, so thought it only right to put up a note about its demise.

You might want to check out Amazon Marketplace to see if anyone has one for sale.

ADDENDUM: Out of curiosity I went over to Amazon to check on the DVD's availability. As of this date (4/12/13) there were nine sellers, with the four cheapest at $59.99 each. Three others were just a bit over $60, with the final two at $79.75 and $99.75. Even the cheapest is steep compared to the original price, but given the rarity of the disc you might consider it. The DVD quality is excellent and widescreen and no VHS can come close to replicating it.
