Boring As Hell.
Starts out interesting but the flashback within flashback makes this a slow, boring movie.

Anyway, I love this film. Fate and faith and dealing with death - human beings will grapple with these issues for as long as we are on this planet.
Also, I love the 60's. The films at the dawn of the decade were SO different from those toward the end. Was any other decade like that?

Not just in film, the entire culture changed abruptly mid-decade. There's been technological advances that have drastically changed life in numerous decades, but I don't recall any in which social standards and morality changed as much as witnessed in the 60's.
