emil and the detectives

It is one of the most bizarre disney´s movies I have ever sawn, just shot in a very neorealistic way, and with an extreme use of colour with very natural child actors. Recently I read the novelbook and it had some peculiar anti-jewish lines on it. Maybe because of it this strange movie had not released on dvd after. It is interesting that Disney have not distributed this movie at any format and it is impossible to have a copy of it in DVD.

But I am in Spain, where flop Disney masterpiece movies like "The Black Cauldron", "Something wicked this way comes", "The Black Hole" (this last one had a very small distribution, but with a very good copy), and this "Emil" had not been released misteriously into DVD. Only the big blockbusters seem to be in consideration in Spain for Disney.
