David Spenser 'Mel'

I am watching this movie and the whole time thinking how hot Mel is, couldn't keep my eyes off of him. So later I check out the actor on imdb, and low and behold!! he is in fact gay in life....so anyway, i'm not sure how much good it does me, but I seen to have "Obscure actor gaydar" this isn't the first time either.

Spenser was also in The Stranglers of Bombay (another Fisher film). He plays the initiated cult member who strnagles his own brother and then rebels at the end and helps the hero escape. I assume that Fisher cast him; apart from the US "package, the cast consist of people Fisher knew and who had been in his other films.
