I'm watching this one right now on TCM and for the very first time too . Another excellent Bette Davis film ( she was the best ! ) . Thanks EvesDropper for your subject post .

I actually enjoy these films from this period as well....the early to mid 60's.

I so did enjoy last nights movie thanks again EvesDropper . I saw " What Ever Happened to Baby Jane ? " a few months ago on TCM for the very first time as well . Awesome film and what an excellent pair up of legendary actresses and such perfect chemistry in the way they delivered their roles as sisters ( WOW ! LOL ) . Definitely a most unforgettable performance by these two ladies . Joan Crawford was the best too and my favorite movie of hers was from the " Night Gallery " TV Show PILOT second short story from 1969 called " Eyes " . I was wondering if this was the only film BD and JC had done together ? I saw " The Nanny " ages ago and would love to see that one on TCM again very soon ( here's hoping on that one lol that and " Now Voyager " would be awesome to see again as well ! ) . I'm so very glad there is a wonderful channel like TCM that still honors all the great actors of the times past . These films are rare gems also and should never be forgotten but enjoyed by many future generations to be .
shareBette Davis and Joan Crawford were schdualed to do another Robert Aldrich film together after the success of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" It was "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte" Unfortunately Joan Crawford pulled out of the project. Olivia de Haviland stepped in to play her role. If you haven't seen that one you really should. Great cast and I know you'll like it if you enjoyed WHTBJ!
I agree about TCM. They air so many wonderful movies and all are uncut.

Another JC favorite film of mine I would love to see on TCM also - " I Saw What You Did " from 1965 that was a scary but great one too lol .

shareI was lucky enough to get that one in the $5.00 bargain bin at Walmart a few years ago. It even has a few extras on the DVD! I love curling up and watching it on a lazy weekend afternoon. Such a good film and such a great cast!
