The sinister Mr. Blackwood

I can't help but think that the main villian in this movie was none
other than Mr.Blackwood himself.
His sinister motive was obviously to collect on his wager when the others
who stayed there lost it by dying.
He must have been in cahoots with those ghosts or vampires that haunted his
castle.

As for what happened in the castle and why it was haunted I'm pretty sure
he must have known the real story.
Also that woman played by Barbara Steele was his wife.
Or was until she died.
