There was a small number of extras in this low-budget film, which gets around this by filming a lot in close-up to conceal the fact that a 1746 battle with about 14,000 participants is being re-enacted with what looks like well under 100 extras. But the stills for this film make it all too obvious that very few people were involved. Nonetheless, it outclasses many much bigger-budget productions.
