Thanks to a great teacher

My tenth grade history teacher, Miss Dickinson showed this film in the first lesson. The rest of the term we would learn about the First and Second World War. The film was incredibly moving. Right from the beginning she wanted us to understand the horrors of war. As a Canadian teenager in the '70s I Never though much about it up until that movie. I will never forget it. There is no glory in war. The common man always pays a higher price. You'd think we'd have learned by now and put an end to it.

Thanks Miss Dickinson wherever you are.
