Where are all the filmaholics?


Qué pasa, che? Ya nadie ve películas "viejas" argentinas???
Nadie postea ya en "message boards" de películas de Leonardo Favio o Torre Nilsson, salvo alguna excepción. El Aura, en cambio tiene posteos a cagar...qué está pasando??

Esta es mi manera de empezar lo que podría ser un intercambio de opiniones sobre no solo esta película, sino otras también poco discutidas.

I don't want to discriminate against anybody, so I think I'll better write in english too (though i'd be discriminating against people who can't understand this language, but I guess that if they're in this english-written site, then they can at least read english)

ANYWAY, I'm worried about the fact that no one leaves posts in "old" argentinian movies' message boards.

Maybe I should copy-paste this post, so that someone somewhere thinks about it and maybe starts a discussion on flms which are not very recent.

I think 400 Coups is the inevitable reference for this film. I don't know if it's totally up to it, I do think it comes close. Thing is, Truffaut's film shows more complexity, with different sides of the kid's life, and here it's just sharp repression and violence everywhere... but this is just a thought, I do think this is a great film
