Why no DVD?

This is a great British comedy. Why on earth hasn't is appeared on DVD?

I know. It's amazing what goes on to DVD and what doesn't. I managed to pick this gem of a film on ebay. I really wish it would get a proper official release at somepoint.

Over three years later, this title gets its official UK release on July 9th.
Studio Canal issues it in its correct aspect ratio of 2.35:1
