Bloody awful
Watched this on Film4 the other day and it's really bad. Actors can do nothing with the limp script.

Indeed. Barbara Windsor was her usual gorgeous and hilarious self, but the rest of this movie was mostly very disappointing. Funnily enough though, there would be another 'Carry On' based movie with the theme of crooks made in the following year called 'The Big Job'. The Big Job is hilarious and has actors such as Sid James, Dick Emery and Joan Simms. It was much more like the regular Carry On films. Not just because of its cast but also that it was both clever and pretty much hilarious all the way through.
