The absolute worst of all time

This the absolute worse. Not Manos hands of fate or Plan Nine From Outer Space, nothing is worse than this film. You got to see this movie and you will know why... If you can even sit through the whole thing.

OKEEFENOKEE was pretty bad. Same boring narration.

It's in my top ten of worst of all time and infamous for the lame excuses the director, AJ Nelson, gave for it. The whole audio track was allegedly lost, so Nelson favored us with the kind of trashy voiceovers Wood was famous for and, even worse, some abysmally out of sync dialogue and hokey sound effects. Nelson also alleged that his much better monster was "stolen", forcing him to commission a new monster on short notice made out of carpet remnants and looking very much like a walking bison pattie. What was his excuse for not crediting the "writers" in the main titles? Were credits "stolen" too? More likely the writers paid off the director to have their names removed. If you don't want to sit through the whole thing, make sure you ff to the dance hall scene!

Whoa, hold the phone! Have you ever seen "Frankenstein Island"? This movie is really mind-numbingly bad, but at the same time it's also hilarious and very entertaining. I rank it in the Top 3 Worst Movies Ever Made and a definite must-be-seen-to-be-believed movie!

...Your movie guide was much too kind, Red.

The chief merit of this flick is to have it be the main feature when you a have a party over your house for "Bad Movies Night!" Pass the popcorn...

The popcorn would have to be REALLY good to compensate for the punishment of watching this movie.

Isn't the narrator the same guy who narrated the "Mr. Bungle" film? Also sounds like the guy who narrated "The Sexperts."

If this rated a "fair" in your movie guide, the mind boggles to think of what it rated a "turkey."

Red's Movie Guide ranking made me laugh more than the movie ever could. I barely made it through the MST3K version the voiceover was so bad.

reply

Yeah, I agree re the MST version. Am a fan of the show and a FANATIC about CT (see my review at www.ManorOnMovies.com) and thus expected MST to really do a bang-up job on this pic...but, frankly, it struck me as one of their WORST efforts!

reply

Pretty awful, but I thought Ring of Terror was worse.

This movie convinced me that there is no God.

This movie convinced me that God has a sense of humor.

Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.

There are multiple movies worse than this. from the period i would suggest monster from yucca flats and from the modern era - disaster movie, babys day out or black ribbon.

NIGHT OF HORROR(1981) is worse, believe it or not. I might say the same for THINGS(1989) and THE BRAIN LEECHES(1978).

Cool it, Baby...just stick to your bumps and grinds.
