I know he's only relatively little known outside the UK, dead, and would have been 91 this year, but surely he's a better choice than the talented, rugged, dark-haired-when-it's-dyed milksop Daniel Craig? Plus he could bring some much needed light-heartedness and cheesy good humour to the role, perhaps?
