IS R1 DVD MADE OF CENSORED SOURCE?

Just heard and trying to find details about this issue.It has been written somewhere that Paramount's DVD(already OOP)is based on a censored version.I don't know if the Laserdisc was implied.Also I heard that there was an original Carol Baker nude scene that didn't make it to US theatres.Since I only saw the film once on TV and I'd definitely want to watch a good DVD version-for which apparently the price will hardly be cheap-could somebody give me a clue?
