I've had the DVD a couple of years and have only just watched it. A very charming sort of film, the type that doesn't get made anymore. I Loved the character of Joe Turnbull played by Hugh Griffith, reminded me a bit of Fagin out of Oliver.

Watched again last night. Made me laugh-a lot!Pity they did away with the boas-could have been a good TV series.
