...what happened in the last like 10-15 minutes of the movie. I was watching it, but there was a problem with the DVD so I missed the last part. It stopped, when Franz sees the car of Arthurs uncle on the road and turns his car around to go back to the house. They arrive, run to the house and then ....

I'll tell you, but you have to promise to see the film again to see for yourself.
Arthur is taking the money and the guy who beat him up before sees him and shoots him several times as Franz and Odile watch. Arthur stumbles forward and shoots the guy, killing him instantly. Then, finally Arthur dies. At the end, we see Franz and Odile, clearly in love, on a train headed to I can't remember where. Then, a shot of the Earth spinning closes the film and the narrator says:
"My story ends here, like in a pulp novel at that superb moment when nothing weakens, nothing wears away, nothing wanes. An upcoming film will reveal, in Cinemascope and Technicolor, the tropical adventures of Odile and Franz."
