Towards the end of the film when the uncle comes back to the villa a woman in a white robe rushes out of the front door for a brief second - is this the aunt who "supposedly" died in the cabinet? Was she faking the death?
Arthur came back to the house to check if the aunt was still alive. She was alive, apparently she faked it, or she just fainted. Arthur asks her where the money is, she tells him its in the dog's house, Arthur goes to get the money at the same time his uncle arrives. Meanwhile the aunt untie her hands and comes out of the house at the same moment Mr. Stolz arrives.
Did the aunt tell Arthur the money was in the dog house? I just thought he figured it out on his own, because when the three of them originally left he glanced at the dog and then looked at the dog house like he had a hunch it was in there.
Yes, I thought I saw someone that looked like the aunt scurry out of the door. The camera moved off her very quickly and it was quite far away so I couldn't be sure.
