Reminds Me of MAS*H

I mean, this film is put together in 1964 and they've got James Garner running around trying to skive out of D Day. D DAY!

I served, wore the uniform and waved the flag during the 1980s. But, I gotta' admit...it took guts to piece together The Americanization of Emily given the climate then. I mean, Tail-Gunner Joe wasn't all that far in the past in 1964.

Cool movie though. Unique. Unusual.

You don't have to agree with something to understand its impact. Like ABBA, I guess.

Sort of similar to M*A*S*H, except not juvenile.
