Dazzling Visuals

This extraordinary flic eventually smarted my eyes as the Technicolor was stunning and varied .What a gorgeous piece of work from George Pal the wizard.

This pic is under appreciated and needs to be pegged as a classic of the fantasy genre and receive wide circulation.

The wisdom dispensed throughout the movie makes this film "a must see" in addition being an entertainment vehicle that it IS

It's also underrated for having an amazing script which Tony Randall brought to life. I think one of the greatest lines in film history was when the kid asked him if he was an acrobat and he said "only philosophically". Some amazing dialogue. One of Charles Beaumont's best and that's saying a lot.

Was it the same Charles Beaumont that wrote some of the Twilight Zone episodes?
He wrote a few of my favorites, The Fugitive, being one of them.
